Since July 4th we’ve learned more about programs like PRISM and XKeyscore, the House came 12 votes from protecting your call records, and the tide has turned in favor of our constitutional right to privacy. Today, we MUST keep building that momentum.

Be sure to show up at your local event. If there isn’t one nearby, you can still help. We’ll be keeping the buzz going on the Facebook and Twitter pages and you can share the word about our events and our cause by sharing/RTing our posts, or sharing your thoughts with us. We’re using the hashtags #1984Day, #Restorethe4th, #YesWeScan, and #WeWatchTheWatchmen. We’ll be tweeting @BarackObama all day wishing him a happy birthday and happy #1984Day, so please join us there and hopefully he’ll take note!
